Privacy
The generator runs in your browser. This page describes what the server stores when you open a FontWand page.
Text you type
Styled text is produced on the page. The characters are not sent to FontWand, not written into the address bar, and not included in the page-view record. Copy uses the clipboard on your device.
Page views
A successful visit to a content page is saved first as a limited record: which page on this site was opened, a visitor marker that changes every Beijing calendar day, and coarse groups such as device type, country, and the name of the site you came from. FontWand keeps those page records for 14 days.
FontWand then counts them into page views, daily unique visitors, and crawler visits. Those daily counts are kept for 90 days. The visitor marker is not a lasting identity. FontWand does not store the text you type, your IP address, the original User-Agent, a cookie, or the full address of the page that linked here.
Actions you take
When you first edit the converter text on a page, or copy a styled result, FontWand stores a fixed action name and whether the copy succeeded. FontWand does not store the text you type, the styled output, the page address, or a visitor marker for these actions. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control skip this count. If the count cannot be saved, the converter still works.
Favorites on this device
Saving a style stores its id in localStorage under a fontwand.v1. key. That value stays in the browser. If storage is blocked or damaged, the converter still runs.
When you email us
If you write to contact@fontwand.com, the message is received by the email routing service of Cloudflare, which passes it on to the mailbox our operators read, hosted by Google (Gmail), and also hands a copy to a small program we run on Cloudflare, which keeps it only until our own server has fetched it — normally within minutes and never longer than 14 days. Our server, hosted by Google Cloud in the United States, keeps your email address and name, the subject, the text of the message, the technical headers and the names and sizes of any attachments (not the attachments themselves) in our internal support list for up to 180 days and then deletes them. Cloudflare's delivery log records the sender and recipient addresses, the subject and the result of the delivery for about a month. We use your message only to answer you, keep it only as long as we need it and delete it when you ask us to.
Optional analytics
When enabled in production, Google Analytics 4 operates under regional privacy policies: in regions requiring prior consent (such as the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and conservative jurisdictions) or where visitor region is unknown, measurement only activates if you choose Allow in the footer preferences. In other recognized regions, measurement is enabled by default with opt-out available at any time via the footer preferences (remains off if storage is blocked). If active, Google receives standard technical connection data including your IP address, browser and device information, referring origin, and clean page paths, which may be processed internationally across Google infrastructure.
Analytics cookies expire within 180 days. When enabled, operational administrative retention for user-level and event-level data in Google Analytics is configured for 2 months with new activity reset turned off; standard aggregate reports may be retained longer. This is an administrative service setting rather than automated code deletion or first-party retention. FontWand never sends text you type, styled Unicode output, clipboard contents, or URL hash fragments to Google.
You may change or revoke consent, or opt out at any time using the footer controls. Browser Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are strictly honored regardless of region. Opting out or revoking consent stops future analytics, clears analytics cookies, and does not affect your local favorite styles or FontWand's operational first-party count rollups.
